The first phase in a new architectural and land–
scape master plan involved the addition of a new entry structure to an authentic adobe brick main house. While accommodating a powder room and coat closet, the new entry creates a visual focal point along the front elevation without over–powering the original structure. A strong physical connection to the surrounding vineyard is achieved through paired side doors opening onto a garden that will eventually include new courtyards, pathways, planting areas, and a bocce court.
